Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra, Balaghat
On 15/07/2017 The Centre for Advanced Research and development (CARD) & Calance have been celebrated the inauguration of “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra” in BALAGHAT Madhya Pradesh. The centre was inaugurated by Mr. Bodhsingh Bhagat who is Member of Parliament in 16th Loksabha From Balaghat (LokSbha Constituency). Mr. Anil Dhuware (Nagar Palika President, Balaghat, Mr. Surjeet Singh Thakur (President, Yuva Morcha, Balaghat). PMKK centre is located near Maharshi Vidhya Mandir, Bhatera Road, Balaghat. The centre campus is spread over 8000 sq fit of scenic beauty and environment-friendly surroundings. It accommodates an administrative block. Two computer labs, tailoring lab, security guard lab, electrical lab and five class rooms etc. This center will be exclusive, iconic and will be marketed as the best-in- class skill development center. The process of identification of suitable building for BALAGHAT PMKK, was started last year. There are 5 Job Role DOMESTIC DATA ENTRY OPERATOR, JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, SELF EMPLOYED TAILOR, UNARMED SECURITY GUARD & ASSITANT ELECTICION. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) intends to establish visible and aspiration Model Training Centers (MTCs) in every district of the country. NSDC is the implementation agency for the project. These training centers will be state-of- the art model training centers. The model training centers envisage to:- create benchmark institutions that demonstrate aspiration value for competency-based skill development training. Focus on elements of quality, sustainability and connection with stakeholders in skills delivery process. Transform from a Mandate-driven footloose model to a sustainable institutional model. Several PMKK Centers have been inaugurated across the country. PMKK BALAGHAT has the potential to become the benchmark of skill development infrastructure, training, and placement in the respective district and also in the entire country and will make skill development quality oriented, sustainable and aspiration.
